Committee For The Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) Ondo State Branch

The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) was formed in April 1989. It started as a small collective formed to campaign for the release of a trade unionist – Femi Aborisade then being held under obnoxious State Security (Detention of Persons) Decree No. 2 of 1984. It later blossomed into a full-fledged human rights platform. It is a Non-Governmental Organization whose membership is open to all, regardless of political, ethnic, racial or religious background.
